Why is this course important
Urinary tract infections can present differently in older adults, making accurate identification and diagnosis challenging. This course helps participants recognise atypical symptoms, avoid unnecessary antibiotic use, apply effective management and antibiotic stewardship practices, and introduce preventive measures to reduce the incidence of UTIs in aged care.

His nursing journey has taken him from operating theatres in Cebu to senior leadership roles across New Zealand. Currently the Group Clinical & Quality Manager at Promisia Healthcare, Blesster has led major service improvements, including infection control initiatives and award-winning care programmes.
