Why this course is important?
Pain is subjective and unique to each person, making it essential for caregivers to develop skills in recognising and responding appropriately. Many people, particularly older adults and those with dementia, struggle to express their pain, which can lead to distress and a reduced quality of life. By understanding pain’s causes, physiological impacts, and management strategies, caregivers can improve comfort and enhance wellbeing. This training equips you to confidently assess pain, support those experiencing it, and advocate for appropriate relief measures, ensuring no one suffers unnecessarily.
