Meet the instructor
Anna Blackwell
Anna Blackwell is a registered nurse, leadership adviser and aged care specialist with 37 years’ experience across clinical practice, senior leadership, governance and business ownership in New Zealand and Canada.
For the past 17 years, she has focused on aged residential care as a service leader, owner, operator and consultant. She has also served as Chair of the Aged Care Association’s Nursing Leadership Group.
Anna holds postgraduate qualifications in nursing and professional supervision and is a Certified Brain Based Coach. She is passionate about relational leadership and creating psychologically safe workplaces that strengthen trust, support early conversations and improve outcomes for residents, whānau, staff and organisations.
